I was first inspired to write biblically themed and spiritual poems when I encountered the early poems of Karol Wojtyla, who became Pope John Paul II. I then abandoned it for many years, until I was encouraged to write again during an Ignatian retreat.
My inspiration comes from my faith journey, and from my prayer and meditation. I ponder the characters and the scenes, and how they relate to me today. I think of their joys, their sorrows and their dilemmas. I hope you will find in the poems friends that you can relate to.
